We are looking for a motivated and experienced groundskeeper to join our dynamic team, to help keep our Park looking its best at all times.   Role to include mowing, strimming, hedge trimming, basic gardening, and general upkeep of Park grounds. Ride Operator

THE ROLE:

  • We are looking for fun, outgoing and charismatic people to join our team of ride operatives
  • Cleaning the ride inline with COVID 19 guidance before, during & after the park opens
  • Providing ride safety checks before, during & after the park opens
  • Creating a fun and friendly experience
  • Providing general cleaning duties as required in the park
  • Reporting directly to the operations manager

Farm Keepers – Full and Part Time

Farm Keepers – Full and Part Time
This role requires a hands-on approach working within our Petting Farm; we are looking for a responsible and dedicated individual to join our animal team on a part-time basis. The successful individual will ideally have a broad-base of animal knowledge - experience working with a range of animals or within a petting farm environment is desirable but not essential. You must have a flexible approach whilst being engaging, confident, approachable and keen to learn new skills whilst focusing on animal welfare and visitor engagement. In addition to the daily tasks, this position also includes taking part in, and delivering, daily animal encounters with visitors (Covid-19 restrictions apply).
  • You must be confident, enthusiastic, and able to publically speak to large groups of people
  • You must be able to engage with visitors and answer enquiries
  • You must be able to work as part of a team but also confident in working and carrying out tasks alone
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Excellent time-keeping
  • High levels of flexibility in order to respond to daily challenges across a wide range of areas.
  • You must be able to work weekends, school holidays and bank holidays
  • Animal care qualifications are desirable, but not essential. Ongoing in-house training is given.
  • Assisting with general site maintenance including the emptying of bins, sweeping, weeding and cleaning.
  • Day to day care and husbandry of all animals including sheep, goats, equines, rabbits/guinea pigs, aviary birds and poultry.
  • Diet preparation, animal observation and record keeping.
  • Assisting with veterinary care when needed.
  • Strict adherence to safe working practices and high standards.
This position is covering 4-5 days. Starting time will be 08.00 am daily, however, flexibility is essential and more hours may be required during peak times including school holidays, special events, lambing etc. Hourly rate to be discussed at interview stage. Working Conditions: Working outdoors, in all weather conditions as the needs of the business dictate. Zero hours This is a zero-hour contract with hours offered as and when required.

Marketing Officer
Marketing Officer We are currently recruiting for a Marketing Officer to join us at Twinlakes Park, Melton Mowbray. In this varied and exciting role you will help market some of the East Midlands greatest attractions:  
  • Twinlakes Park, Melton Mowbray
  • Wheelgate Park, Mansfield
  • Xtreme Scream Park
  • U.K. Escape Games
  • And other special events across all sites, such as Breakfast with Santa and Lil’ Park of Horrors!
  Carrying out tasks such as:  
  • Running marketing campaigns
  • Updating and managing attraction websites, and liaising with our webhosting companies.
  • Organising social media campaigns and running social media platforms
  • Running mailshots and newsletters using platforms such as mailchimp
  • Running campaigns with local radio stations such as GEM
  • Planning of Park brochures
  • Designing traditional posters and signage for the Parks
  Applicants must have prior marketing experience, and be fluent in both digital, social media and traditional marketing methods.   About the role:   The role is full time, averaging 40 hours per week, and will include 1 day at the weekend, bank holidays as required. Salary/hourly rate to be discussed at interview stage. 28 days holiday. Good opportunities for career advancement. Job based at Twinlakes Melton, with time spent across the other sites. From time to time assisting with admin and other roles in line with the needs of the business. Training will be provided in existing marketing systems across the companies.
