Please note that only one mum per paying customer (adult or child/toddler ticket) is eligible for free entry during the Mother’s Day weekend. There is no need to book the free mum ticket in advance; mums can simply turn up at the park for free entry alongside a pre-booked paying customer or pay for the customer on arrival and mum enters free of charge.

Farm Hygiene

We hope you enjoy your day at Wheelgate Animal Farm, to help ensure that you do we ask you to follow the simple rules below. If you have any questions please speak to a farm ranger.

Pregnant women need to take particular care and specifically should avoid contact with lambs and their droppings. Smoking is not allowed around our animals, Wheelgate Park is a no-smoking park. Please supervise children at all times.

Please follow all our Does and Don’ts!

Do Not..

  • Put hands on faces or fingers in mouths while petting animals or walking around our farms.
  • Kiss farm animals nor allow children to put their faces close to animals.
  • Eat anything that has fallen on the floor.
  • Use gels or wipes as substitutes for washing hands because these do not remove bugs and germs found in farms.

Always...

  • Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water…
  • After you have touched animals, fences or other surfaces in animal areas.
  • Before eating or drinking
  • After removing dirty shoes or boots that been worn on the farm
  • Do supervise children closely to ensure they wash hands thoroughly.
  • Do eat and drink in picnic areas or cafes only.

Terms for Mothers Day Weekend!

Please note that only one mum per paying customer (adult or child/toddler ticket) is eligible for free entry during the Mother's Day weekend. There is no need to book the free mum ticket in advance; mums can simply turn up at the park for free entry alongside a pre-booked paying customer or pay for the customer on arrival, and mum enters free of charge.

  1. The Mother's Day celebration will take place at Wheelgate Park on March 14th and 15th, 2026.
  2. Mothers will receive FREE entry to the park during the Mother's Day celebration alongside a paying customer.
  3. This offer is valid for one mother per paying child or adult ticket.
  4. Mothers must be accompanied by at least one paying child or adult.
  5. The FREE entry for mothers is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, including the Valen-Times Day 241 Return ticket.
  6. Wheelgate Park encourages mothers to participate in various fun activities and games specially organised for Mother's Day.
  7. The availability of fun activities and games is subject to weather conditions and operational requirements. Wheelgate Park reserves the right to alter or cancel any activities or games without prior notice.
  8. Wheelgate Park reserves the right to refuse entry or remove individuals from the premises if they fail to comply with the park's rules and guidelines or engage in disruptive behaviour.
  9. All visitors, including mothers, must comply with the park's safety rules and regulations for their own well-being and the safety of others.
  10. Wheelgate Park reserves the right to amend or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time, without prior notice.
